It is a weapon she found herself comfortable with for some reason. It’s big and looks intimidating, but it’s mostly helpful. It requires balance and thought before each swing. Jazz was taught by her grandpap, just a few basics to help out with chores around the cottage and it actually helped her get out of a bind before when a wild animal attacked her Nana.

Personality:
Jazz may look big and tough and particularly dangerous, but really, she’s the biggest and friendliest dork you’ll ever meet. She keeps a hard-core look because:
1. She likes it,
and 2. It keeps the judgmental people away because it scares them, and they won’t try and mess with her, physically or emotionally. So amongst strangers, she tends to act aloof.
She tends to act big sister, even if she is an only child, mainly because she’s grown up mostly on her own. She is one big, hyper ball of energy and is almost always smiling. She can’t stand to see people sad and is caring to a fault. Make friends with her and you’ve got a friend for life.

History:
Jazz’s mom gave birth to her while she was in college, a...surprise after a night with her Irish soldier boyfriend before he left for a mission...and never made it back. She grew up in her grandparents’ cottage in Wales’ countryside while her mother finished schooling and trying to get a stable job to support the two of them. In middle school, they moved into a flat in London for her mother’s job through connections of her Aunt. That’s when she started gaining her punk rock look, seeing it as a way of expressing her creative side. While she may look like a delinquent, her friends and Teachers quickly learned that she was sweet as could be and no trouble at all.

Jazz learned to be the responsible one because her mother was always so busy, to the point that she would actually be surprised when her mom could make it to events. And yet they had a very relaxed and friendly relationship. Her mom would only note new changes in her look and ask the occasional question about friends and love life. Wanting to put less stress on her, Jazz began to look into boarding schools. She had good grades; she could easily obtain a scholarship. Not that she needed it, but once again, less stress on mom. She was about to give up and settle for some cut-rate religious school when one last link sent her to the Higashimori High site. Elite, variety, best chance of success! While it was all the way in Japan, she read good things about their transfer student programs. It would only be for 2 years...Plus it would look really good on a resume! And maybe, just maybe, she could give her mother some fashion inspirations as well.

So, after surprising her mom with the info packet and showing her excitement, her mom agreed and bought her a language program called 'Babble Tower' which she picked up quickly.

Jazz took a deep breath in front of the door to her classroom, taking two seconds to freshen her hair before her hand started to worry her locket.

Show time... Jazz slid open the door and strolled to the teacher's desk, promptly turning to face her new classmates. She gave a little half wave " 'Allo-" she stopped herself and put her hand down at her side, giving a proper bow. "Er ah Konichiwa." She came back up and ran a hand through her bangs real quick. "My name is Anabelle Smith, but you can call me Jazz. If you can't tell by me accent, I'm from London, England. Ah.." She began to scratch the back of her head. Now the hard part... "Um...my natural 'air color is auburn, no I don't 'ave a tat, yes my piercings real, aand it's a pleasure to meet you all and 'ope I can learn a lot this year. Thank ya" She gave a nod and looked to the teacher who smiled and pointed out where she would sit. She flopped into her chair, letting out the breath she had been holding. Day one...
